Derby name origin: I wanted a short name that was easy to say that also had similar letters as my real world name. Secondly, I'm the baby of my family and always appreciated the Flintstones character.
When did you join roller derby? January 2019
What brought you to Free State? I saw Roller Derby on TV and always thought it was cool. I finally got up enough courage to give it a try.
How did you find Free State? I google searched Roller Derby teams near me. Luckily, Free State was right around the corner from where I work and live.
Which leagues/teams are you affiliated with? (e.g. Suzies, Villains, Team Maryland, DCRG, CCRG, etc)

Are you a member of any committees or have off-skates roles?
I help to make the Bout Posters for players and Refs. I also make recycled artwork and jewelry to sell as Free State merch and fundraising materials.
Do you have a skating/athletic background?
I used to ice skate when I was very little but, lost all ability to skate at all up until a year ago.
Likes: I love anything artistic and creative including performing and singing. I have a HUGE elephant obsession.
Dislikes: I dislike mean people, spiders, and tight spaces.
What is your Non-Derby-Related job? I am an elementary art teacher for Montgomery County public schools.
Pre-Bout ritual: Get dressed and eat a snack.
Signature move: Hitting hard at the seams.
